Just my .02 cents , but I’d add a hd ground cable before you try cranking. Here’s why, the cranking is going to be harder now. The Ecu will see the voltage drop and shut the starter circuit down. At least it does on the Roadster. I ended up with an additional ground and the Toyota starter.I have had cranking problems in the past but I think all my problems came from a bad (burnt) negative rectifier plug that @DEcosse found and fixed for me with a new harness. But the touring will give you fits on startup if battery isn’t up to snuff so that’s why I went to dual batteries, I have indeed doubled up or more on ground and power cables
The weak link is the ground cable.....
