Need Tires? Get Ready For Major Sticker Shock!!!

Prices are up ~ 70% from what I paid just a few months ago.
How this came to be and who's to blame is for another forum, but for now this is the new reality.....

Just paid $627 for new tires on the wing. Thats definitely an increase from the last time I bought bike tires plus the $150 to have them mounted. Kind of thinking about just spending another $100 more on a cheap tire changer but then again it seems like a lot of work. Plus then I'd have to figure out how to ballance them. I can see why some guys go with car tires at these prices.

A cheaper stand and a MOJO Lever. It's fairly easy once you get the hang of it. Let me know if you're interested and I'll share the video link.
