Need Some Help

If your insurance agent is willing to get involved, go for it. Let them get you a new rim and go after the dealer. Make sure that your insurance is not going to cost you more next year than the cost of the rim. If so, call Progressive. They have the best rates for bikes, specially if you have more than one. Tell them I sent you
If not, get the (correct) one on eBay or have your's it fixed or just buy the 875$ one and then go to small claims. Be ready to show evidence and explain and show the judge why you had to get a new rim and also show evidence of your attempts to deal in good faith with the dealer. Certified letters and such. If the rim just had a small dimple or scratch you might have a problem so be reasonable. Most people don't understand that some bikers can tell if their bike was rubbed the wrong way. I do, so understand why you are pissed off. :banghead: Just imagine you are working convincing Judge Judy.

All good advice gents.

PEKAY, we do not like to see members of our community - all of us Triumph fans - dissed or pissed upon, especially not by some pissant dealership, no matter their affiliation.

Thanks to everyone here for your support and advice. I've held off taking any action just yet because the Triumph Regional Rep is returning to his office in Atlanta tomorrow (he was out of town last week when I first contacted Triumph last week)and I was told he would be contacting me. Who knows, maybe when the Dealer learns that I went to Triumph Corporate about this he'll wake up and pay attention. Then again maybe the dealership owner won't care.

One of the things I pointed out to the dealership owner when I spoke with him was that even if he had a new wheel on his parts shelf it would insane to mount it on the same machine in his service dept. He would have to send it somewhere else to have it mounted and hope that it mounted without damage or I'd be right back to where I started.

Invite the Triumph Regional Rep to this forum, if he has a Rocket III of course :D He will understand why he must make you right.

Phill said it well "PEKAY, we do not like to see members of our community - all of us Triumph fans - dissed or pissed upon, especially not by some pissant dealership, no matter their affiliation".
