Need Help

Yankee, I have an 07 Classic with the same problem. You offered sending a pic of the solution. Would you mind posting it if the offer is still good?

Sorry I haven't had the time to visit the site. I have had the unfortunate luck to get Infectious Endocarditis and I haven't been on a motorcycle since who knows when. Three months with the wrong diagnosis only to end up in the hospital with congestive heart failure. One month of home infusion and now I am in cardio rehab. I haven't thought of a motorcycle untill I went to start them up. Dead Classic. I went to open the seat and guess what? The ..... seat won't release again so I can't take pics of the fix which of course isn't the fix. My roadster was dead but the seat came off. My Honda VTX 1800 fired right up after months idle. Go figure. If anybody is interested I will take pics when they fix it but I am not doing that untill I can physically ride again. I couldn't even get the bikes plate renewals because of the pollution tests I couldn't ride to. By the way I love my roadster.
