Is there an EB relay install for dummies? try as I may I just can't understand the install instructions. I checked out some posts on the subject but still can't follow.. the steps steps seem to presume that certain things are known I need a step by step example preferrable with pics. Today I got as far as the light conectors disconnected, the right head cover removed, but I don't want to cut anything until I know where things go,, and what are the two blue plugs for , where do the go?? any help would be greatly appreciated, I had a friend who some some knowledge around bikes and he just shook his head

email EB with your situation and you will get a step by step instruction from the man I like you had no clue but I did it with EB help
so can you

And when u get them send them to me lol. My eb kit is on the way, although triumph may already be on to it because my fuse lay out appears different to other peoples.

The hardest parts are:

-Undoing the bulb sockets to get the wires thru the headlight shells and then reassembling them,
-Finding an ignition-on power source.

Take your time, measure twice, cut once, not so hard, really.

Fortunately, the new kits come with the H4 ends not assembled. This allows you to push the wires throught the headlight shells easy.

I'm not following your comment about the ignition-on power source. If I understand you correctly, you are talking about a place to connect the kits Red wire. I believe the maker's recommendation is to run it back to the battery or to a 2nd fuse block if you have one installed. Pretty clear on that.

Measure twice, cut once. AMEN!!

Granted, I have an R3T, so mine is probably different, but there was no cutting required for me. I simply unplugged light from old harness, plugged it into the new harness, plugged the new harness to the connector under the tank, and ran a hot wire to the battery. Very easy, at least on the touring. You guys with two headlights are probably somewhat more rigorous, but hopefully not much.

I don't understand why you need to replace the wiring to the bulb sockets.
I did my own version and with two relays and power direct from the battery.
Really bright lights and the power doesn't go through the key switch.
If I'm missing something someone please speak up.
Thanks,
