I agree with scot....If the tank truly was contaminated, I'd want to confirm it by checking the filter element. If it is filled with crap, you might want to flush your tank.

@Wrecka I must admit I have only done mine once in three years mate. I used a Holden inline steel filter to replace the original with. It's slightly larger but it does fit and at a much reduced cost all credit to Les.

My bike has been running a bit rough lately, I notice it when I hold/lock a throttle position like 5th/4th @ 80 kph (using throttlemeister in the tunnel) it kind of acts like it is fuel starved. I think it might be the first thing I will check. @Malcy you said
