I agree with scot....If the tank truly was contaminated, I'd want to confirm it by checking the filter element. If it is filled with crap, you might want to flush your tank.
How many kilometers on the ride?

yeah I got about 45,000 before I had the blocked injectors which then led to a complete clean of the Whole Fuel Injection System
 
My bike has been running a bit rough lately, I notice it when I hold/lock a throttle position like 5th/4th @ 80 kph (using throttlemeister in the tunnel) it kind of acts like it is fuel starved. I think it might be the first thing I will check. @Malcy you said
