Need advice before buy

Hi everyone I am new here. I want to buy a 2016 rocket 3 R flat black with white stripe. The bike has 2800 km so it almost new but it has sit for almost 4 year. The owner tell me he have done oil change every year. It run great ecept idle a tiny bit rough but I think new gas and a good ride will ease the bike. It look brand new. The price is fair. I never buy a bike that have sit that long I need advice what to check on it.

Bike should be fine with fresh fuel but I’d plan on new tires due to age and a new battery at a minimum.

It's fuel injected so not a big deal to store it for a long time.
Worst case, you spend $85 to have the injectors professionally cleaned and flow benched.

You may need to have the ECU reflashed if the bike is started with bad gas in it. The ECU will adapt the ignition timing and fuel injection to running bad gasoline. Happened to me. If the bike has ancient fuel in it, I recommend you don't try to start the engine until you empty the fuel tank and then purge the bad gas out of the fuel pump. You get that old gas in the fuel system and you'll spend lots of time trying to clean it out.

Look in the Gas Tank, (preferably when empty).

Today's Pump Gas is notoriously corrosive went it sits in a tank for long periods.
