I love the Thruxton a few years ago my local dealership had a few bikes from triumph that needed miles put on them for bike week anyhoo I ended up with a Truxton for three days all gas {petrol} paid and boy did I have a blast, enjoy the bike you will probably ride it more than the Rocket.
The one that you are getting will be slower than the one I had due to the massive air brake on your bike I am talking about the license plate that is one wind drag but the good quality petrol you have instead of the virgins piss over here should make up the difference

Pretty much every day I come home from work and tell the missus that I want a Thruxton. She keeps saying "sell the Rocket". I offered to sell her bike instead but she wasn't impressed. I'm wearing her down though. Latest condition was "take me to Vegas". All I can say Jack is you lucky, lucky bastard. And that you deserve it. Good for you.

Would love to hear those pipes, by the way. They sound good enough with TORS but the Arrow system should give it a proper voice, if the Scrambler I heard is anything to go by.

I'm trying to upload the video but it keeps telling me it's the wrong type of file. I've uploaded it to Facebook but can't work out how to put it on the forum from there, but they do sound good, baffles removed. If anyone knows how to do it please let me know.

Good move Jack, I got a Bonnie 2 years ago, ride it much more than the rocket.
Get the baffle out of the air box, open up the other side by the relays to let more air in,more power will be available, stick a marble in the A/I pipe by the airbox no one will notice, should help reduce pipes blueing.
I have 2-2 Arrows on mine, baffles out, sounds great especially at full chat.
Enjoy

Clip worked fine ..nice paintjob (1970 TR6 green) and the Arrow sounds good. Sure you'll have a blast on it .
