Pretty cool little kit by Bburago. You can pick them up for $20 or so.

I did realize that since I was a kid...my hands aren't any smaller, nor are my fine motor skills any better. Luckily, no gluing or painting required.

Prior to the recent paint job, this was my original "Claret" color.

Hi Marvin,

I have been looking for one of those to add to die cast collection. I have not been able to find one. Please put out the details of where/how to find these.

Bill.

Memory lane!

I remember when i was a kid building scale model motorcycles-many of them quite detailed and large scale...I had a BMW and also a Honda 750 four. This would have been early 70's. When i come across someone who built models as a kid i feel a kinship...i dont think youngsters today enjoy that craft-I loved it...battleships, planes, drag racers, tanks. :)

You and me both Douglas. It was a wonderful hobby as a kid. I built many different kinds from cars to ships to planes and space craft and all kinds of military vehicles. My older brother really enjoyed blowing them up with M-80s and Cherry Bombs. You know back in the 60s and early 70s when they were still real M-80s and Cherry Bombs.
