Finally, a nice, sunny day. So what if it was 35 degrees when I left home? It was a 180 mile ride from Beaverton, OR to Tillamook, OR via Highway 6, then North up the coast on Highway 101 to Canon Beach just South of Seaside, OR. I wanted to photograph the famous Haystack Rock before heading home on Highway 26 East. As I stood on the same spot on Canon Beach I turned South and Photographed the second shot. I crossed the 1,000 mark on my way back to Beaverton. All in all, a glorious day.
My goodness, Bob, you do have a gift with the camera. Keep those shots coming.
Tillamook, of all places, is also home to one of the finest aircraft museums in the country, imho. Tillamook Air Museum
It is housed in an old WWII Blimp Hanger, the largest wooden structure in the world so they claim. It really is huge. Definitely worth the stop the next time you are near.

I like your photos it reminds me of the time I could ride my bikes, before winter that is.
Glad ta see you braved the 35deg weather to nab those shots. Always a pleasure!
