What do you think of this little trailer from Harbourfrieght for pulling behind an R3 touring?
Will I need to change the coupler to one that swivels?
looks like it would be great for camping trips.

it state only 200lbsmax for motorcycling and 55mph I do not know if it is the right trailer for an R3 (like who ride at 55 on a R3)

You must be concerned with quality when towing with a bike, a trailer behind a car is at the mercy of the car ... a bike is at the mercy of the trailer. A bad bounce at a bad time is a VERY bad thing.

You don't put cheap tires on an R3 ...

I have this trailer... Pulling it is not a problem... I allow a little more time for breaking and don't accelerate as fast as I would w/out it, but I really don't notice it behind me. I pulled it from Georgia to Arkansas a couple of months ago w/ no problem.

Rocket 3 with trailer

Hi Guys Deano here!!!
Just wandered upon this site and i see you guys are asking questions about a hitch and trailer for a Rocket 3??
If you go to www.trailmasterinc.com and log onto cargo trailers and the Arizona trailer and finally customer testimonials you will see what trailer I chose along with the hitch which I purchased at www.hitch.com !!! I did Houston to San Diago then up to Vancouver and zig zagged all the way back down taking in 12 states in 28 days completing 12000 miles and didnt feel like I was towing anything!!!! Took it to Indianapolis and back to Houston for the Moto GP back in Aug this year and it was a real blast!!!
I have uploaded 3 closer pics of the hitch from my computer so you can get a better look just dont know where they have gone though on this site

Thats good to know, at least the price is reasonable compared to the other trailers that are motorcycle specific.
J.duke where did you get the hitch for your bike?
