Motorcycle Jack

Buy one of these,

Find a talented friend to make two of these:

Slip one of each into the holes in the bottom of the frame and slide the jack under so that the rear of the two arms is underneath the inserted brackets and the front arm is under the sump. Then lift. Both wheels off the ground and rock solid.

Trumpy, Where are you?

One of the R3 UK Owners Club makes these (Mad Taz, you wanna see what he's made for his, it's outrageous) and I don't want to do him out of a sale. If you're in the UK I can put you in touch, if not I will PM where to put em.

Perds, great idea. Slipping them into the center stand bolt holes would give the needed clearance and take the place of the piece of lumber I am presently using. My riding buddy up in British Columbia has machined serveral gadgets or me and these would be simple to make.

BTW, I had one of those jacks, actually two (the wife of my friend who was killed on his Harley in Hawaii gave me his. ) I used them for years but decided to change only becuase I got tired for trying to find a place to put them when not in use. The Black Jack weighs about 25 pounds and slips under my work bench....

Thanks for the tip.

this is what i have been using with two 1/2 x 4"" bolts through the center stand hole, let about 1 1/2 inches hang out to fit in the cradle of the jack and it jacks the back up nice I put the kick stand on 2x4 to make it level that way it doesnt feel so bad when it comes over to the other bolt then it comes straight up. it uses the shorter cradles.

The jack is the same as the Black Jack, only red. Awesome black Rocket machine. They don't get any finer than that. If the jack was black it would finish the picture. :D

On a technical note, did you have the radiator shroud bead blasted before you powder coated. Beautiful...
