i am not overly fond of the round mirrors that came on my bike (look like mouse ears).
i found a set of triumph oval mirrors (triumph does not make them anymore)
does anyone know if they are flat or curved glass?
thanks

Flat glass and good as long as your not into speed the same with the tear drop ones. High speeds and you will not be able to use them as the vibrate to much. Round hold up better at high speeds.

thanks about the flat glass.
did not know the round vibrated less. but they are funny looking. search continues.

My ovals don't vibrate at all at any speed. A few people have had vibration issues but it's by no means everyone's experience.

Had chrome teardrop mirrors on mine for years .. never noticed any vibration either. Truth is if I'm travelling at Warp speed I'm looking at the road in front of me anyway.

My Harley buddies call them tennis rackets..if you pick up a set of these adapters for the Rocket you can pretty much pick and choose what mirrors you want. I have the custom ovals on my roadking and they don't vibrate at 100 mph.;) Your local HD has some nice ones to pick from..... http://newr3.com/html/mirror_adapter_kit.html
