I consider the tread indicators a suggestion. But yeah, going all the way to the cords is a bit insane........

Yup, been there, done that! Was sitting in a B King one day eating a burger, and looked out at my Rocket. Saw a strange white strip on the rear tire. Humm, what could that be? Surprised the chit out of me, when I saw the cord showing. Only around 5000 miles too. NO burn outs, just rapid twists of the throttle. Taking it easier on this current one. Gotta love that torque!
