I could add a second gear, shift dogs, 2 timing chain tensioners, 2 cam shafts, a cam ladder, 6 titanium intake valves, 2 crankshafts, 2 crankcases, and 6 connecting rods.
Not from my old beasty I hope.
 
Mine is made 12/2009 MY 2010 R3R VIN last 6 digits 432260, Engine Number 3434710
Australian compliance plate - Kmh gauges.

Therefore I think the reference is to Engine Number not VIN, an easy mistake to make for all of us.

The cutoff and switch from one version to the next occurred in 2014.

It always sh!ts me how they misuse < and > in ref to VINs/Engine numbers. Yes, I know what they mean but still irks me.

After reading that Roadsters cannot be started without the correct instruments and ECU.
Stuff it, I have them both covered now:

A brand new set of T2500657 Roadster Kmh instruments;

a used set of 2015 Rocket X Kmh instruments - presumably T2500662 with 12500km;

a used 2016 Triumph Rocket 3 III Roadster CDI ECU ECM Engine Control Module ABS T129021; and

a used 2016 Triumph Rocket 3 III Roadster Wiring Harness Loom NO CUTS T2501097.

If I need the later 2014 on ECU, Harness and instruments I will need the GPS changed too according to one who knows @R-III-R Turbo .

No sir! She's running better than ever. Just one headlight going out, and the speedo still only works part time. The motor is still solid.
 
Eddie said the tensioner arm was bent. Same part that was just replaced. He said someone must have over tightened it.
