Aaaaand the latest - noticed a rattle or clack-clack-clack noise from tensioner area at idle and so, which went away when moving off or revved up, and this was the culprit. @Steel
Reckon the timing chain wore the groove on the guide, which allowed the chain to become loosened a little, this allowed it to catch the edge of the groove and ride up along, and snap back into the groove then making the "clack" sound.
What caused the chain to wear a groove into the guide.
Overtightening tensioner?
Stretched chain (currently 142.60mm) meaning guide was pushed out more, reducing contact area between it and chain?
Prizes for correct guesses!
