Maintenance Schedule

I was at Triumph Detroit and they stated that there was a new Scheduled Maintenance Requirements from Triumph... for instance, valves are no longer checked and adjusted at 10,000/30,000 miles, but now at 20and 30k.

Triumph Detroit? Long ways from FL I have purchased three Triumphs from them, teo America's and my R3T. Dave is a great guy. Yes they told me that same thing, but since I already had mine done at 10,000 and hey just did the 20,000 I will stay on the old schedule and have the valves rechecked at 30,000.

Really good people at Triumph Detroit, they have just opened a second new location.

my dlr threw in the 10000 mile tune on my 06 purchase and when they told me the new valve ck schedule I thought they were trying to scam me. thanks for the post.

Thanks for that info, mine is almost on 10k and I really wasn't looking forward to doing the clearance check.

Stopped in at Triumph Detroit before they moved a little north.......great people......helped me get a shifter issue sorted....I bought several tee's for their generosity!

Im at 10,000 now so guess Ill wait for the valve check........no ticking as of this post! lol

Triumph Detroit has recently opened up another location too. I am rapidly approaching 30,000 and on the old schedule. Not looking forward to that bill

I had my valve clearances checked at 12K. Needed shims and the cost was crazy!.
Now I have the Carpenter kit installed and do not intend to have the shim under bucket set up looked at for at least 20K.
