I popped my 2011 riding cherry today! Finally broke 50 degrees and too out the freshly tuned rocket! Holy hell does the beast have power! A few hundred in bolt ons and I'm gonna smoke alot of bikes in my area! My wife is going be thrilled hearing me blab all nite bout my scoot!
 
Ride that thang. Mid to upper 70's here all the rest of the week and the weekend . Just got my Kaoko throttle lock and getting my Riken so this weekend ought to be a trip.
 
Congrats on gettin your cherry popped. How many miles did you put on it it before you called it a day? I remember my 1st day on the Rocket. It was hard to get off of, I just wanted to keep riding. My suggestion to you would be get some cold weather gear and spend more time on that beast. Good luck and be careful

nothing like feeling that iron horse between your legs...lol...welcome an enjoy the hell out of it!
 
I've had my rocket since last year. I just added triple k&n's, secondarys gone, PCIII, gipro, tors, and cat removed .... feels like a whole new bike! I only put down about 40 miles on it. Their is a lot of salt still on the road around here from winter... luckily their is a snowplow driver who knew he wanted to take his bike out early as possible ......(me) and didn't salt his areas the last two storms!
