I have similar stories, but it was @warp9.9 that first caught my attention and led me to this forum with one of his wild posts on the Rocket. I decided I had to have one of those, just maybe not modified to that terrifying extent.

I met Warp and Steele on one of the Maggie Valley rides and will never forget when Steele passed me, with that Carpenter system- the sonic boom. I thought an airplane was landing on my back! A little afraid to ask, but what happened to Steele? I don't see him here in the members' search.
