I think hes just working last time i talked to him. I was challenging him on my touring before i ever met him, just waited for my moment, pull up beside him and gave him the challenge nod, when he took off he blasted me with that exhaust almost knocking me off widowmaker as i was laughing, ofcourse he crushed me.

I lived where he's from (Houma, LA) for several years. Yeah, Coonass country down der.... Hope he's doing well and living the life

I have similar stories, but it was @warp9.9 that first caught my attention and led me to this forum with one of his wild posts on the Rocket. I decided I had to have one of those, just maybe not modified to that terrifying extent.

I met Warp and Steele on one of the Maggie Valley rides and will never forget when Steele passed me, with that Carpenter system- the sonic boom. I thought an airplane was landing on my back! A little afraid to ask, but what happened to Steele? I don't see him here in the members' search.

Watp, Steel and I have a running group text that's years old, I talk/ text with them pretty much every day. Warp has some issues with his ticker, he's taking it pretty easy these days.

Scott AKA Steele is doing fine or hasn't let on that anything is wrong . Scott, Chris and I message each other every day or two.
I myself just got back from Southwest Virginia. Not a great trip do too funeral duties. But still a beautiful time on the Rocker (porch style)
