Madstad windshield!

So I'm Happy with the Madstad set up. Ordered the 24" and put about at least 500 miles on it. Its very sturdy. The bracket is the key. and the windshield is thick.

I think its about as good as its going to get for our bikes. (other then a batwing)

I'm 6ft1 and if I put it up all the way I can still see over it. I keep it down most of the time. Because of the wind from underneath.

Its doing the job for me. On a long trip, I would wear ear plugs.

if you want it for touring I'd recommend getting the 24" even if your shorter. I posted pictures on page 7 of this thread.



Finally, I'll be trying one of these!

If the shield is good (strong, good shape), that bracket is going to make a difference to control buffeting. definitively, let us know your review.

Anyway I think some type of bracket is key to a full size touring windshield on our bike. Hopefully this is it.

On the website it says the stock windshield will fit on their bracket.

According to my previous experience with Mastad on my HD CVO Road Glide, If I decide to buy a screen it will be that one.

I ordered on Apr 30, but haven't received it yet. At the time the site warned that fulfillment was taking 15-20 days. Seems they've now removed the warning, but I'll still give them a few more days before I ask about it.
