A big problem with R3 throttles is that the last 3/4" or so actually gives little or NO support to the sleeve - mine has all sorts of additional stuff in so it does not waggle.
Well customs bars with a 7/8" section let into the section where the throttle tube rotates - with precise igus slider bearings in the throttle tube. The throttle tube was worn a bit. I have zero waggle now. On standard bars - you need a short piece of bearing material that fills the reduced section of bar to the inside of the throttle tube - and you may need to teflon shim where the cable guides are.
