Welcome Dave, from Maine, definitely cold up here now, my Rocket is sleeping currently, will wake up some place in
Texas this winter. (She doesn't like to sleep a long time)

When she wakes up it's usually with a Roar!

Enjoy when you get one, you will, you're smitten

welcome aboard are you looking at a Classic Tourer built in 06/07or are you meaning a Rocket III Touring built 2008 and up? Just cuious as they are two different animals.

Its a 2015 R3 Touring. I found it at a dealer online. Too far away to test drive. The local Triumph dealer doesn't stock Rockets or Tbirds any more. They mainly have ****** rockets, dirt bikes and four wheelers. And, they were reluctant to set up test drives. In fact, I was wanting to take my 05 VTX 1300R for some work. I was told they didn't work on vintage bikes - BTW they are a Honda dealer, too. Great - have wrenches will turn!

Thank for the welcome Hoopla,

Yeah, I'm leaning so far over towards buying it my forehead is getting carpet burn! And, compared to Maine, we can ride all year long down here. Just chilly - rarely any ice and even more rare for snow!

Hey Dave and Welcome from Alabama! Y'all talk like us too, lol. I hope you can find the bike you like. It is definitely a step toward having the perma-grin.
You guys have milder weather than Alabama but I ride year round also. Just took my R3 for a quick spin after dark tonite. I don't usually ride after dark due to the deer population in my area but had to try the bike out after installing a RamAir kit this afternoon. These bikes are very easy to mod having exceptional gains with aftermarket exhaust, free flowing intake and an ECU remap. The RamAIr kit woke it up nicely!
You will find so much knowledge here and some really great guys that take the time to be helpful to us fellow rocketeers. Keep us posted on the R3 hunt!:)

Hey Chris, thanks for the welcome.

We have family on my wife's side in Madison. Interesting how fast they through out the Dawgs and began to Roll with the Tide!

I think I found a bike, but it is in Virginia. Appears to be a decent price, a little below NADA. The mileage is so low I find it hard to believe! I just have to decide (and sell the
'05 VTX 1300 and '82 KZ1000 - only so much room in the garage). Anyway, I'll run a VIN check to make sure its legit.
