I've been around power tools all my life it's too late for me but for those who have constant ringing i heard this helps.

been around radial engines for way too long without proper earphones while working and naturally the ringing is ever present , I consider this a minor impediment and have to live with it no drama tried the finger beating technique I still wonder how long I have to snap the fingers before the ringing stop I stopped snapping after 2 solid minutes no change given up now

Thanks Phil that was a very informative artical, I already have some Custom molded ear plugs but find they get uncomfortable after about 5 or six hours and have never like the foam type as they seem to irritate my ears, I rely on a good Quality Helmet instead.
I have the Shark Race-R Pro Carbon which has so far been the Quietes Helmet I have owned

Your most welcome, Hans. The plugs that I posted in the link seem to have the highest attenuation level/dB reduction rating available from foam throwaways and they work very well for me. The trick is to throw them away and break out a new pair before they begin to degrade.

TRIIICK, that link for tinnitus was great and actually seems to help greatly with my low to moderate level ringing/buzzing. Thanks a heap!!!! It really provided me some relief from a sometimes pesky condition.
