Lions road TT weekend

Only heard about this today, from Oct 4th to 6th at Kyogle. Apparently this is all go with Kyogle shire council and The scenic rim shire council on this side of the border on board. The Lions Road will be closed and run a 40klm time trial and 1/8th mile drags run in Kyogle somewhere. Camping and motorcycle trade stalls will be at Kyogle show ground. I'm still trying to verify this, mates at Kyogle say they believe it is a goer. To become an annual event. They have a web sight set up. lionstt.com. Check it out. Thinking the Rocket might go alright over the 1/8th mile if I can get the thing to hookup.

Love the Lions Road .. took my poor ex-wife along there for our 'honeymoon' many years ago. On a 1978 750 Bonnie , road was only partly sealed back then. Spent a fair bit of time digging clay out of between the back tyre and mudguard. Last of the romantics that's me ..hahaha
Hope the TT goes ahead .. be an excellent event in a really beautiful place.
