Big weekend

Left Bris early Sat morning with a dozen other bikes, picked up a few more at Beaudesert then Lions Rd to Kyogle (what a scream) then into Casino and on the Bruxner (throttle pinned against the stop for long periods) to Tenterfield for lunch then along to Deepwater before turning off for Emmaville and a race to the pub for a few beers and bundy). Left Sunday morning below zero temp for a fast run back through Tenterfield (ice on the seat) and on to Stanthorpe and Warick before heading down the Ma Ma Creek Rd (no margin for error) at speed to Gatton and back through Fernvale to finish over Mt Glorious (just for fun) and into Bris. Only one bike down (Diavel) after going in to hot but all in all a big weekend given the road and the speed of the trip.

Came across five rockets and a few boulevards at a servo in Warick, they said they were up from the Gold Coast for an overnight at Stanthorpe.

Not much left of the foot peg inserts and the new tyres have copped a hiding but there is plenty of respect for the power and speed of the rocket in the group now.

yeah a couple but came across them at the right time.
Only found out in the pub that night, double points apply on NSW school holidays, not that it would have changed the outcome.
Still would have gone for a row.

Sweet feeling to match it with a Diavel, until he came off of course. (his tyres were shot so maybe not a completely fair contest)

OP tends to leave me face down so I'm a bit wary of it, particularly when I need all my faculties for the ride.
Not sayin I reject it either.

I done a ride from Newcastle up through Kyogle & out to Deepwater the weekend before you.
It pissed down all the way from the Drake hotel to Deepwater where we stayed on Sunday night. (Karaoke night)
We only made it to Tamworth on Monday as it was still raining & freezing cold so we found a warm pub.

NSW only has double demerit points on long weekends & public holidays.

Me n wifey are goin to head of EX sa to nsw, just put inch n half black 14 inch apes on n bloody luv them, look really beefy n not over the top. I took 2 inches of soft foam out of my seat n made a back rest for wifey, she now feels that she cant slip off, or yea and I made a rack thst bolts onto the sissy bar and it dosent look like its for a tractor.Luv sittin out n the shed buildn stuff.
