I know i seen it before but im having trouble finding the proceedure for connecting the cumputer to the bike for tune ecu.

Remove the bike seat - plug the cable into the OBDII cable on the bike - plug the cable into the USB port on your computer. Start TuneECU and make sure an appropriate tune is showing in TuneECU - wait a little while as your computer gets to know the bike. This will be evident by the little red, then amber, then green flashing bit on the screen. When it is green you are ready to go.

The first thing you should do is to read the tune out of your bike and save it with its own unique name. That way you can always return to where you were before you started.

This is all assuming that you have first loaded the correct drivers for the cable.

thanks was also wondering does the bike need to be warmed up? does the key need to be on? Should i leave the battery tender on it. I have the gipro with atre but want to get rid of top end and install ramair filter this winter.

Yes, the ignition key should be in the on position. A battery tender should be on to make sure your battery stays charged. The bike does not need to be warm. It is a good plan to remove the headlight fuse, or if you have the Eastern Beaver kit you can turn off the headlights.

dont remove the headlight fuse in a roadster, that fuse is needed when you put a tune back into the computer. (roadsters have different fuse lay out than the other rockets)
