Are you taking the secondary throttle discs off at the same time?, you should.

But don't drop the little screws down the holes.

You need to slightly turn one filter, think its the back one but they fit under well.

That's not necessary using Tune ECU! :)

Gday I recently got mine from Summit Racing.com in the USA (you don't want to try and buy them NZ, they take a testicle with them). They don't fit under the bearclaw but look good.

So worth it...

Why those big-ass rubber venturis?

If I get the new filters will I need a new tune.
not so much a whole new tune but it will be advisable to modify the one in your bike as it will run slightly leaner an extra 5% on the F tables will keep it safe and while you are at it you can open up the secondaries and derestrict the first three gears ignition table, contact me with your e-mail and I can do this for you if you are not confident

G'day just to tip them up and forwards, aesthetics only, the filters do go straight onto the fuel injection bodies but liked this look better, sorta copied this Red one. Even still they get in the way of my knee I'm a long skinny streak of weasels...

Was going to recolor the blue to black but decided not to, its not like R3 are discreet or anything:thumbsup:.

@Steel did you ever get ahold of Daryl? Was he able to get you a good price? I'm contemplating 3 new 1770s now that I've finally gotten the mounting sorted. Filters are fine, but the stack bases are pretty chewed from all the times on/off.
