im getting 33/35 mpg fuel light comes on 50 miles from full (whatever! use the trip) mods are dobeck EJK ram air filters and home made link pipe and delevik can you know its there but it done hurt , slow is not an option .

My worst economy was in Nebraska, riding into the sunset, with a 40mph headwind.

My best economy was riding up Mt Evans with a pillion on the back, and got 43mpg - US gallon!!! There is something about altitude, nice weather, and a leisurely ride that conspire to give good economy.

44 MPG is very good. I only get that kind of mileage in 1 place. The circle road around Lake Tahoe. 73 miles of 35 MPH at 7,000 feet. Everywhere else it is about 38 MPG average.

34 to 42 mpg depending on conditions. How and if I ride with someone.

I get 300~350km per tank, conversion is 186~217miles, depending how I drive. As soon as I saw the motor, I knew I wasn't buying fuel mileage....but hell, it's a fun 300. My wife has an 883 sportster superlow,half the size tank,same kms per tank, but EVERYONE walks past hers to look at mine........it's the nature of the BEAST, want fuel mileage,buy a scooter,we are in a different class.

If I could get 44MPG I'd be delighted, never got more than 35 & then only rarely, but again I just fill her up when empty. Mind you I have never tried to ride at those speeds, maybe I should!!!

Well... good thing for us all that we have that giant, beautiful gas tank.
