just want to know about your gas burning

I just finished two days of riding with my new TORs installed. I averageed between 31-34 MPG at speeds from 35-85 both days. I was riding single this time and mainly on flat(ish) roads with a few turns or on super slab straight road. I have the 2014 R3T and counting myself and extra gear, about 250 pounds more than the bike.

The increased mileage was an unexpected plus after the Carpenter build. This has nothing to do with economy but extended range on a long trip is great. When I take my cross country trips with my friend who rides a 2005 R3 with TORS and PC III, he is out of gas well before me and when we stop, I put a full gallon less in the tank to fill it up. I am getting a full 10 mpg more than he is. This has to be a product of the efficiency of Carpenter's head work and cams.
Far better performance and better mileage to boot.

I average about 27-28 mpg, but I have about 170 rwhp, an inefficient exhaust system and I do love to prowl around in the lower gears and twist the wick from time to time.;)

Suffice it to say that I gave no thoughts and had no concerns about fuel economy when I acquired my Mistress, nor have I developed any since she became mine!

As I said, Phil..I don't care a bit about the economy and thought I would get bad mileage with the Carpenter job but the increased range is something I appreciate.
I twist the wick a bit myself ;)

The Carpenterized motor is a model of efficiency and lethal power!

So when are we going to meet for a ride?

I barrowed Turbo200R4's 2007 Classic yesterday for a ride up Mt Lemmon in Tucson. Upon return, I calculated it got 40 MPG. It has the Cat delete and TORs with no other mods.
