Welcome and good luck! I just took a trip out to Omaha a month ago to pick up my Rocket. I'm about 45mins south of Milwaukee, you're looking at about a 500 mile cruise.

What you really need is a full set of hard bags, a big windshield, A place so you can talk on your phone while riding, foot pegs sticking out everywhere so you can be comfortable switching around. A loud stereo so you never hear the motor and how it is running. One of them phone apps that tells you how to get to wherever your going, Cruise control so your wrist will not get tired or sore. Oh yea almost forgot the cup holder. Oops my mistake I thought you said HARLEY DAVIDSON. ALL that is required for a Roadster is a set of balls.:eek::eek::eek: Welcome from the big city of Henryetta Oklahoma. Home to No. 74.

welcome from arizona
i picked up mine and road it home with my wife. i went to pass two trucks (speed limit 65) when i was pulling back in i glanced at the speedo and it showed 110.
the speedo is usually about 5 to 7 percent reading faster than u are going.
headlights are not good.
have a safe trip. and if u have trouble there are good people on here to help. even the mean ones will help u:roll::roll::roll:

This is no joke. It is VERY easy to do triple digits, and the bike is so stable & smooth that it doesn't feel all that fast. Don't know what previous experience you have, but my previous bike took some time to get to 100, and anything over 90 it started to get unsettled; it felt like you were going dangerously fast. The Rocket is TOTALLY different in that regard. Really have to watch that speedo.
