2010 Rocket 3 Roadster,
Greetings from Omaha, Ne. I'm just about to take purchase of a 2010 Rocket III Roadster on Saturday morning. My flight is booked to travel to Milwaukee and fingers crossed the bike is everything the dealer at Road, Track & Trail has made it out to be. Either way I'm looking to be a R3 owner soon. Any nesseary add-ons besides the throttlemeister?

Welcome from NJ, good luck with the purchase, I'm sure you will enjoy your new ride, take it easy for the first couple of miles ( she a big girl) and then let er rip!!

Crash bars are always a good idea if it doesn't have them. Good place to mount the highway pegs. I always wanted a fly screen too but they cost to much.

Once you get her home.....exhaust, intake, tune......

I couldn't do long trips without my ram mount and charger so i can use my phone for gps & music.

I appreciate your input. Definitely will take your advice. I have a ram on my Connie. I need to get another base mount.

WELCOME FROM WA!
be careful of the throttle Meister. We had one of our members crash and injure his head pretty badly from the malfunction of one.
engine guards are a must in my opinion if they are not on already.
after that options after that options are abundant to your taste.

Welcome from Florida,Brown Hornet get a Cramp Buster before you leave the dealer as the throttle is hard on your wrist until you get used to it.

Hello Brown Hornet and welcome form Virginia. After being stationed in Omaha for recruiting duty way back when, I seem to remember the summers are a tad warm. I would buy a BeadRider (Large) for the seat. I think mine is one of the best bits of kit I have ever put on a bike. It keeps your bum dry as air flows under it and even as short ride like 350 miles will make you sweat in the summer heat. It also give you a bit of massage as you move around the seat. Good luck and try to keep the front tire down for most of the trip...
