Just a little off

Probably doing around 20 km/h...at least 2 car lengths. Saw the car suddenly stop, so I grabbed handful. Must of hit a patch of slippery stuff cos the front wheel just slid out and down she went. Tires are probably getting to the twilight of their life, I’d estimate around 30% left on the front...probably a bit less on the rear.

Had fun picking her up and pushing her around 20m to a open parking spot.

Nice bruise on my right knee but besides that I’m okay. The mark on the exhaust really pisses me off..maybe Paul can supply me with a Viking badge to cover it? The other bits are easily replaced.

2006 bike means no ABS so grabbing the front brake in any circumstances does not hold up well without ABS ,good chance you started to turn the handlebars as you grabbed the front brake that will knock you on your arse in a heartbeat.

Mate glad your OK.

It's is fun picking up the beast good job you a big barstard.

Having looked at the damage in the pictures it will take a bit more than lemon pledge to polish those marks out.

Oh and I bet the bloody woman was up dating her social media and though she saw a red light.

Gonna need a new mirror...suppose they only come in a set?
Jason, the standard mickey mouse mirrors are available single, but they are expensive.
Ishrub has some options though.
I can source some genuine ones if needed.

I'd be interested in a replacement for my teardrops...I already have the original MM ones that came with the bike.
