I’m surprised as to how little damage to the bike...the cheap highway pegs took the brunt. But my right hand mirror stem is pretty scraped and the beautiful @Paulbryant exhaust has a nasty scrape right at the end.

Now were you riding a wee bit close to the car? how are your tyres, what else was a contributing factor to the oopsie? just trying to help other riders from the same thing.

Probably doing around 20 km/h...at least 2 car lengths. Saw the car suddenly stop, so I grabbed handful. Must of hit a patch of slippery stuff cos the front wheel just slid out and down she went. Tires are probably getting to the twilight of their life, I’d estimate around 30% left on the front...probably a bit less on the rear.
Had fun picking her up and pushing her around 20m to a open parking spot.
Nice bruise on my right knee but besides that I’m okay. The mark on the exhaust really pisses me off..maybe Paul can supply me with a Viking badge to cover it? The other bits are easily replaced.

No...they’re the triumph teardrop mirrors in chrome. Hoping @mitzy has another set!
I think my wife did all the thanking on my behalf. She witnessed a real bad motorcycle accident that happened right in front of her a couple of months ago whilst I was on a job in Fiji. Has made her very nervous about me riding and her riding pillion.
