Jardine Header Question

I just received my Jardine exhaust for the R3T. The headers are coated black. Does anyone know if this is a ceramic coating? If not, I'm very tempted to have them Jet Hot coated to reduce the heat. But if this is a ceramic coating, I guess I can skip that expense.

Yes they are ceramic coated..... but I am not sure if it is inside and out like Jet Hot would do. I do know they are alot cooler then the stock headers though.

Thanks. The coating does appear to be inside and out. Guess I'll go get some new gaskets and some hi-temp sealer and bolt these suckers up.

You are going to love them. I love the sound and the performance. I can't really say they are cooler, however. I have to wonder what percentage of the heat from the motor is due to the headers vs. the block.
