It's that time again

So Tom,
Does that mean that if we put the site name on the same pin as the event,
the site is held accountable?
I certainly wasn't trying to hurt the site in anyway.
Only trying to show that the event is supported (in theory) by the site.
It's a .net event, by members here,
all of who are above legal age to be held responsible for their own actions.
Maybe we just need a "hold harmless" posted, so everyone can print it out,
or "virtually" sign it and send it in.
OR
Maybe we could just use two pins and patches.
1) a site patch and pin.
2) an event patch and pin.
Thoughts?

Tom I am by far a legal expert but do think you have a valid concern. Perhaps a liability waiver of some sorts would be in order for participants. (I have attached a sample) I would be happy to assist the site management and members with any future event planning were I can.

Since I'm relatively new to the site I don't know if the RAA is a registered trademark of someone (Triumph USA, or someone else) and there could be liabilities there. I'm not an attorney but I am fairly technical.
Depending on time required I will volunteer to help with future events.

Yeah really
Thats like going to a rally
You have to sign a release upon entering in the event you get drunk and stupid and get hurt its not the land owners fault.
We as Americans have become such a sue happy country that I can see the .net site protecting themselves.
I would sign what Steve put up
Its short,concise,and self explanatory
Anyone should be able to understand it and read it and sign it.

good Job Steve

AZBBQER,
Can't get the link to work.
sure would like to see it though,
could you check it and see if its just me or what.
Thanks,
skip

Try the new link. All I did was move the last line "AMERICA", so the entire text cascaded to the right. Kind of like it's going "across" America.

AZBBQER,
now I see what you did.
Looks good,
how about moving the "rockets" to the left, leaving the " across" centered, and taking the "America" a little more to the right.
How do you think that would look?

I like it! : )

It might be kind of nice to be able to have one on this side of "The Great Divide", for those of us living closer to the "Left Coast".
