In general, I save stock parts that I take off of my 'projects' but then I throw them out years later.

In an effort to be different, should I bother saving my stock exhaust or stock headlights or stock shocks? I could throw the stuff up on eBay but I don't know if anyone buys that stuff.

I removed the dresser bars and front pegs on them on day 1 along with the windshield... I might want a windshield some day (although the flyscreen goes on later this week).

Just trying to see what people do with the parts. I almost put the exhaust in a dumpster but didn't toss it yet... baby steps I suppose.

Pinwall specializes in them. You might sell to them , probably for half what they will ask online for the psrts

I suppose that is better than nothing. When I used to race cars I had bins and bins of used parts and one day I had a friend come get the stuff... he brought an F350 and still had to put stuff inside the cabin. I made him give me the plastic crates back... there were lots of them.

I was wondering something similar. I'll always keep stock exhaust if I ever had to export the bike you need to return it to stock from a DB and emmisions perspective. However, for anything else like stock seats and stock airbox etc I've wondered if keeping them is worth it.

If there was a used market for these parts it might be worth it.

If you have the space - keep them. If not sell them. There are always folk who buy a used bike and want it back as stock.
Its especially true for Original Accesory parts that TRIUMPH no longer make.

Well if anyone wants an the airbox plenum and tubes let me know. I don't see myself ever undoing that ramair mod. That crank case breather filter was a ***** to get on there (cause of the tight working conditions) It's gonna stay that way lol.
