Do people living in the warm climates get colds/flu virus regardless of the climate, and temp? Is it more about if you live around people chance are you will from time to time get sick?

From what I understand temperature has nothing to do with getting a cold or the flu. They are viruses, they live just as well if not better in warmer temperatures.

It's running rampart here in the Northeast...they say the flu shot is pretty compatable with this years virus.. get it while you can..

When my wife first started her in home day care several years ago, I was sick for a year straight! I caught every **** cold virus known to man :( all that snot and muck being left everywhere.....

But since then I havent had a cold for 3-4 years now....:D
Guess I'm immune..;)

I remember reading somewere that once you have had a cold virus, you won't get the same one again as you carry the antibodies for it. However there are approx 45 versions of the virus, so if you have one a year for 45 years you will probably be ok!

Ya I got it, and really hate being sick. I am feeling sorry for my self, and the thought crossed my mind of the advantages of a warm climate. I am high on codene as well I said to the girl lets move so I never get sick again.
