Interested in R3R

Down in Texas last October I found it WAY easier than expected to do a good wheelie.
I can sure see how it can get habit forming . . .
They do run better at low altitudes. I remember in Colorado how hard it was to wheelie. The only time it got easy was in one canyon (I forget the name) But it was about 1500 feet lower than any place around it.

That's interesting because mine (stock engine) comes up so easy . . .
I shall try to limit my front air-time because I do not wish to puke fork seals.

I don't remember you doing any wheelies in Colorado. o_O

I had the stock engine at the time, but not a great tune at the time. I've never hurt my fork seals on any bike I've owned. You got to set em down gently. :p

Welcome from New Zealand....I had a Storm b4 my 2014 Roadster and I absolutely loved the Storm and found it very difficult to sell it but in saying that, I have absolutely fallen in love with the r3 to the point of buying a new one just b4 xmas. Mine is a 2016 roadster with lotsa fruit on it now. One of the most noticeable differences for me is the sitting position. On the Roadster the feet are under you which is more comfy on the tailbone area on longer rides. Of course the extra power is extra ordinary and very very addictive...if youre like a lot of us guys, we enjoy riding for what it is...RIDING!...The R3 is surprisingly nimble too but you gotta stay strong with it...it is a big bike. You will love it!
