Installing Progressive 430 Help

I'm installing Progressive 430s on the R3. Does it make sense that I don't seem to need any of the bushings to install? The rubber bushings pre-installed slide right on with no bushing (tight fit). What I find odd is when I put the bolts back in, the washer squishes the rubber bushing. It doesn't seem right somehow.

Any words of wisdom?

It's OK that the rubber bushing squishes because it does not articulate around the shock mount. The steel bushing that fits on the shock mount does!

Really good shocks would have rosejoints - Rubber is a cheap solution.
