Installing mid R controls to Rocket 3 GT Storm.

This is not a trivial install. Nice work and writeup! Curious if you figured out where the new, longer brake line mounting bracket goes? I circled it in your parts pic here:

I got short legs so the mid pegs is a big upgrade for me. Now I just need a quick shifter.

The quick shifter is a game changer for sure! 2nd best upgrade after Penner's tune, IMO.

Basically the same spot the old line bolts to is where this attaches. I took a couple pix for you and a screen shot of where it attaches in the post. Its not to bad once you start getting into it, I'd say the biggest thing that worried me was bleeding the brakes and that wasnt too bad. I love the new mid position, its like riding a different bike.

Nice job. Many GT owners are looking for a way to move the pegs back more than the OE mounts allow. We had to move our GT pegs back for the 2024 and 2025 record runs at Bonneville. My son is a machinist. He made 2 brackets and 4 spacers to move the GT pegs back 4 inches and out a half inch to make some extra leg clearance for the riders leg due to the 2 inch tubing size of the Viking Exhaust system. That was as far as we could stretch the brake hose without changing it. The 4 inches back worked well enough for our rider.
