We know the factory horn is a joke. I had the Stebel Nautilus on a previous Rocket and while it was plenty loud it wasn't the sound I was looking for. My morning commute is at 4:30 AM along a 30 mile stretch of Texas Hill Country Highway the locals call "The Meat Grinder". With these things in mind I set out to find a horn that would befit this Beast.

Here's what I came up with.

The front mount is a piece of 1/2" aluminum strap I had laying around. There is a small band of bicycle inner tube between it and the horn. The aluminum goes under the oil tank embellisher and borrows the front screw. I put a washer under the rear screw so the embellisher sat level on the tank.

The rear mount is a piece of 1 x 3/16" steel that I bent with a hammer and bench vice 'till it fit. I drilled and tapped it for 1/4-20 stainless screws and the other end is under the rear engine mount bolt. It's pretty sturdy.

That’s awesome. Any issues with sound reflected back from the edge of the radiator?
