'14 Rocket III Touring
my Rocket hasn't even been delovered. (not a typo.) I may be new here, but I've come full circle. My first road bike was a '73 Bonnie back in '76. Only rode that vibrator with that lousy Lucas electrics for a year. Went to HD after that. After some low life Outlaw wanna be, stole my pride and joy Wide Glide, I went to rice burners. KZ9,750 Four, V65 etc. Road tested a Rocket 4 years ago. Wondered if I'd ever have one. On Monday I traded in my '98 Valkyrie (one fat lady for another.) She was getting long in the tooth with close to 100k. As I was wrenching off my after market goodies for E-Bay yesterday, I was grinning ear to ear. I've been riding and working on Valk's for 16 years. No more. Whoo Hoo!! Don't get me wrong. The Honda Valkyrie is/was a great machine. Where ever I went, the Harley boys would come over and start a conversation. Here in Milwaukee, that's a big complement. I don't expect THAT to change much. The Rockets an eye turner. Coming to my garage Thursday. (You'll find me there mopping up the drool till the snow melts and the salt is washed away.) I hope to become a regular at RAAs like I was at the Inzanes. This is a great forum and I hope to form many friendships and get lotsa advice. Mike Ski

G'day and welcome. I have 110,000 miles on my RIII, so I know you'll look forward to putting a few on yours.

I took one for a test ride a month ago. The 'grin' is automatic. I bought it later that day. Not much grinning at the moment as our weather in the UK is not exactly conducive to a bike ride but I'm sure I'll have the beast out soon. Welcome to the forum and the world of R3R
