With the relocation kit, you will be adding several feet of relatively small guage wire to the circuit. More wire, more resistance, more heat.
With the ignition switch as well-documented weak point in the circuit, you would be advised to install a headlight relay system at the same time. If you don't, you WILL have an ignition switch failure. Not if, but when.

Thanks tdragger, the relay kit has already been assembled by Hanso for fitting in the next week or so, just have to arrange a convenient time to go visit him.
Good advice RatBoy, apparently, disc rotors are much softer than most people realise.
I'm with tdragger--the ignition reloc and headlight relay mods are best as a combo-mod--and the rotor lock is much better security than the lame fork lock you'll be losing (as long as you remember to remove it prior to take off...
