Lots of good ideas here. I would just like to have an engine coolant temp. gauge. You can see a problem developing with a temp gauge instead of just finding out that it is already overheated with an idiot light.

Also interested in where the sending unit would go. Is that just an aftermarket automotive gauge?
I cut and fitted a brass T piece on hose coming out of the thermostat .I got the gauge from ROCKET INDUSTRIES (not kidding) or an auto store may have them here is a pic.

what is there not to under stand about c, 0c water freezes 100c water boils, in science you guys in the US use c for temperature readings , most of the gauges were in F i had to search to find in c !
(1) On the R3T a lockable but quicker seat removal system , having to take the panniers off to get to the seat mounting bolts is a Pita
(2) A grease nipple on the final drive rear spline housing to stop my paranoia about the spline running dry, like the ones on the centre bearing slippers on 4WDs and trucks
