I Have Never Had This Problem on a Rocket

I believe several states have similar laws. It was proposed in GA, but didn't pass.

I have never been stuck at a light on my rocket, but when I had my speedmaster, I got stuck a time or two.
Some lights are triggered by magnets under the asphalt that tell it when a car is there... if nothing triggers it, you get stuck until a car comes along or you run it...

It is a hard ticket for the cops to win if you can prove or show to the judge that the bike was not activating the signal and that you waited past the normal time he will dismiss the ticket.
Wait until it is all clear to proceed do not cut anyone off .

We have that law here in Texas too, and I've had to use it several times, even with the Rocket... I'm never unsafe about it, but it sure beats sitting there staring at an empty intersection for 5-10 mins and the lights not changing.. lol

This reminds me of traveling from Gainesville to Cape Canaveral AFS 30 years ago. I would visit family in Gainesville and wait until the last minute to get back on duty at the Cape. I would drive into Melbourne on the (SR528?) toll road at 2am, stop and wait for the green light after I dropped a quarter into the basket. There was no one within 10 miles of me at the time, no cameras, no cops, yet I dropped the quarter and waited for the green light. LOL, what a dumb ass, or was it the discipline the AF instilled in me?
Anyway, it seems funny now. :D

I agree with the OP - I've never had this problem on my R3T. Did have it a time or two on my previous ride, A Suzuki Boulevard C90 - but even that tripped the signals way more often than it missed.
