Triumph rocket 3 touring 2011
I got a rocket three touring ran great. I did a spark, plug new tires new air filter pick it up to Colorado hit pikes Peak overflowed the gas tank had gas run down. He was running on my map sensor next to let you know whenever I try to throttle, it wants to cut out and I have to feather the throttle to get it going what could be the problem I was thinking map sensor because whenever I unplugged the map sensor it runs almost normal for a couple miles and it starts cutting out again or I was thinking possibly my GPS any help on what this problem could be so I can fix it. I’ve been trying to figure this out for 23 years Now I just want my baby back running right

Greetings from sunny North Texas. Welcome to the forum. Your post is a bit confusing, so I want to get the details right, so we get a good starting point. First, you have had this throttle problem for 23 years? That seems like a long term work around to me but if that's the case, so be it. Next who is "He" referring to and what does overflowing the fuel tank have to do with the problem? Another question that comes to mind is what does a GPS have to do with how your motor runs? Please be specific as to what the motor is doing, for example: the motor starts miss firing under load above 3000 RPM and if the throttle isn't changed to lower the RPM the engine dies. You might consider making a video and posting it here so we get a clearer picture of what is happening with the motor.
