I couldn't discern any change in idle when I got the Nev cams installed. Maybe slightly. That was one reason I wanted to change other than the HP increase.
If you want to get that "loping" idle, Wayne (Power Tripp) has plans to do cam work that flips one of the cylinders firing order from 120 degrees over to "in between the other two cylinders. It theoretically would have no effect on performance but definitely would have a dramatic effect on the sound at idle. IT would change the sound from the regular rumble sound to more of a rip rip rip sound. Wouldn't that be too cool?!?!?
Nev's steert cams took my R3 from 151hp 154 torque to 169hp and 180 ftlbs, sorry these sheets show some earlier pulls, but after some tuneboy remaping ended up with good figures, I have k&n"s jardine headers with supertrap can.
