Lupe - Hard to say without seeing the "wear indicator bars".

I'd place a estimate of 1000miles tops though. How far is MV from you? - I'd want a 50% safety cushion too.
My rear Metz wore VERY fast at the end of it's life.

MV is 900 miles each way so i took your advuse and went for the 50% cushion

To me, mounting a tire is such a pain, I don't think I'd waste my time doing a used tire.

Close to the wear indicators. Exedra with 4000 miles.

Dave, that tire has been on ny rocjet for a year, it was given to mewith around 1000 miles, i put probably another 1000 but is getting flat in the middle, last noght i ordered a new exedra nax, just in case

Okay that info would have been useful upfront you have been in the mountains many a time Lupe and you know if you think the tyre might make it then it is time to replace it as you are doing.

I ordered the tire aftyer posting the question, i remember in 2017 RAA, one of our riders spent his entire vacation in a motel in Sheridan Wyoming because his tire gave up and there was not another one anywhere near, he had to order it from somewhere, on our way home we stoped by his motel and he was still there 4 days after waiting on his tire to arrive

Probably will be more than flat in middle when you get off I’d think cupped, age of tire for me is 7 years yeah my last commander 11 had 6500 miles but 8 yrs old, flat in center and bad cupping when off, treads not wore out, I had bought bike used from a 70 yr old that did it, 45000 miles, for what the rocket does keep new rubber on em like dale earnhardt and rocket that thang, rockets rocket no other way to put it. New rubber often and early
