Hi Everyone,

I wanted to know does the weight of Rocket 3 hinder the bike from being agile enough for cruiser? On scale of 1 (not agile) to 10 (very agile) for cruisers where would you rate Rocket 3?
Moreover, lets say someone comes in front you suddenly and you have to brake suddenly, or do a sudden maneuvers, do you feel confident on the bike to handle well in these situations. Were there any times were you felt bike is too heavy to the point it made riding boring, not nimble, or always requiring lots of planning? Can you push the bike to go fast in corners (I understand its not sport bike) but is there anything that makes you feel like if you had gotten a different cruiser (less heavier) the ride would have been more fun?

on my 07 rocket classic
i went into a curve not paying enough attension and half way through i noticed that i had not choose the correct lean angle and was headed for the double yellow line and was going to cross over so i mussled it on down and had it layed down handle bars loose (wiggling in my hand) then all at once it caught hold (to my supprise) and came back up a little and i made the corrner.
was a real pucker monent very impressed wth the bike not so much on my hitting the corner to fast and underestimating the curve.

I think it's fine I have been out of riding for a while and used to be crouch rockets all the time. This i find okay to throw around, it does not just drop into a corner I need to push but she's goes way further than I'm capable or riding.

My only issue is grid roads with gravel they suck, might be my confidence but I find the font goes where it wants.

9.5 I haven’t ridden a cruiser that was a better. Maybe the KTMs or the Ducatis would out maneuver the R3?
My buddy has a Ducati Diavel and we are pretty close on flat ground and downhill. Uphill the Rocket pulls away. I have passed way more sports bikes than have passed me. I cant keep up with a very good rider on a very good sports bike however.

Pardon my ignorance, what is a grid road?

The bike can lean really well, a lot of clearance. Stop and go traffic is not bad at all, the ability of give you power almost in any gear makes it easier to respond to traffic conditions and avoid issues... I don't mind driving it in the i95 where everything can be throw to you with no notice... mattress, sofas, ropes, tires, fenders and what not....
